For those of you that are new to my website, I used to be a preschool teacher. It wasn’t for very long, as I ended up starting my own family less than a year later and making the switch to stay-at-home mom life.

However, during that time I learned a ton about the power of certain educational resources, no matter the age.

I’ve contemplated the idea of homeschooling for years, but like so many others, I was under the impression that my kids would be lacking in the socialization and experience department. (Insert eye roll here).

I know, I know. So mistaken. But, I was a city public school kid and really had no idea what homeschool actually is until looking at it from the perspective of a parent and former pre-k teacher.

There are many homeschool parents who roll their eyes at the use of printables and schooling in general under the age of 6. I couldn’t be further from that. I believe in sharing resources as early as possible. Exposure is a big deal! Now, if your child doesn’t show any interest in school, and instead wants to simply play, that should absolutely be supported.

All of this is to say, that you really don’t need any printables or extras for your toddler. I promise they’ll learn their shapes with or without the use of these things. But, if you have a school loving baby, like I do, you’ll love my site.

I’ve been doing full-on unit studies and schooling with my son since he was a toddler himself, and now he has a younger sister that eagerly shows up to the homeschool table every day, ready to learn. So, I’ve had to adapt! My toddler has her very own “curriculum” that I’ve created for her, which I share with other homeschool parents all over the world. You can find more info below, or browse my shop for specific projects and printables. I hope you enjoy!

My shape matching worksheet set works best as a busy binder add-on, or at the very least, with the use of laminator sheets and sticky velcro dots! It first made an appearance in my December Toddler Play Curriculum, if you’re interested in a bundle of printables and activity ideas (though some of them are season-specific).
