Solar System in Motion Song for Preschoolers
This song is super cute, and just what my son was looking for in a space song! Sing it at circle time during your space unit, and hang up the printable near your focus board.
There are quite a few good preschool space songs out there, but this was the one we were looking for all along. My son naturally asked me to spin around and pretend to be Jupiter, so this song just made sense.
It’s quite comical, especially since I’m so massively pregnant.
Get your preschooler up and moving and excited to learn about planets and space with this solar system song.

(Sung to the tune of “The Farmer and the Dell”)
The Earth turns around,
the Earth turns around.
Once a day, every day,
the Earth turns around.
The moon goes ’round the Earth,
the moon goes ’round the Earth.
Once a month, every month,
the moon goes ’round the Earth.
The Earth goes ’round the sun,
the Earth goes ’round the sun.
Once a year, every year,
the Earth goes ’round the sun.
