Chocolate Chip Biscoff Blondies

These gooey and fabulous blondies are made with whole wheat flour and cookie butter (Biscoff spread), loaded with semi-sweet chocolate chips. Perfect for a sugar rush!

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup white whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 5 Tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 cup Cookie Butter
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 8" x 8" pan with parchment paper or non-stick foil. Set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  3. In a separate and larger bowl, whisk the butter and brown sugar together until combined. Whisk in the egg and egg yolk until combined. Stir in the cookie butter.
  4. Gently stir in the dry ingredients with the wet, but be careful not to over stir. Fold in the chocolate chips and spread evenly into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes.
