Nutella Love Puppy Chow

Puppy chow is one of the easiest dessert-like snack foods I've ever made and this one is even more delicious with the Nutella strewn throughout. Better yet, this dessert will keep for days and you can enjoy bits of Nutella chocolate goodness the whole week long!

Ingredients Method Notes

Ingredients
  

  • 9 cups Chex cereal rice or corn
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Method
 

  1. Place the Chex cereal in a large bowl and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the Nutella, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the Nutella mixture over the cereal and gently stir until all pieces are evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the coated cereal to a large zip-top bag or a container with a lid. Add the powdered sugar, seal, and shake until well coated.
  6. Spread the puppy chow on a baking sheet to cool and set. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

This dessert will keep for days and you can enjoy bits of Nutella chocolate goodness the whole week long!
