It’s easy to go overboard when you’re decorating for the holidays, so I’ve put together a list of ways to decorate for Fall on a budget. It’s tempting to buy everything in sight – especially when you visit a craft store. That’s how I overspent at the beginning of the month. To play it safe, I recommend ordering from Amazon. Not only is it convenient, but you can see the total price without the pressure of being at a checkout counter. If you need to put something back, you can, stress-free. If you did everything on this list, it wouldn’t be very budget friendly. I suggest picking a few out and sticking to it.
1. Add A Throw Pillow To Your Couch
Throw pillows are a great way to spruce up your living room for relatively cheap. Be sure to check if you’re ordering a throw pillow, or simply a pillow cover. I’ve made that mistake before. Click here to check out the pillow shown above.
2. Fill Jars and Vases With All Things ‘Autumn’
Another easy way to decorate your home for Fall is to fill jars or vases with artificial Autumn pieces, like acorns, pinecones, fall leaves, pumpkins, and gourds. To save even more money, you can do what my Mother-in-Law does and pick real acorns and pinecones. You’d think it would be easy to fill a jar with decorative pieces – it’s not. You’ll rearrange it more times than you can count by the end of the season!
3. Put A Festive Doormat On Your Front Porch
Putting a festive doormat on your front porch is a super easy way to add a festive touch to your home. You can find some on Amazon for a decent price, like the one pictured above. Better yet, you can make your own (though we all know that making your own usually ends up costing more unless you already have some of the supplies on hand.)
4. Add A Throw Blanket To Your Living Room Or Bed
Adding a plaid or Autumn-colored throw blanket to your living or bedroom will make you feel 10 times cozier. I can pretty much guarantee it! To check out the one pictured above, click here.
5. Make A Fall Wreath
This is only cheap if you already bought leaves, acorns, pinecones, etc. to fill your vases. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend making a DIY Fall wreath if you’re on a budget. It is fun to make though! The picture above shows my first attempt at a DIY wreath. A little droopy, but not too bad!
6. Hang A Wooden Sign
The signs pictured above are only $12.88! You can find some really cute wooden signs on Amazon, and even the ones at the craft store are pretty cheap if they’re on sale. But, like I said, let’s try to avoid that evil, magnificent place if we can!
7. Light An Autumn Scented Candle
This is pretty much a must for the holidays. What are you doing with your life if you don’t buy at least one scented candle? The one shown above is from one of my favorite small shops, White Leaf. You can see more of her products on my Instagram page, along with a coupon code. I’m obsessed!
8. Add A Pumpkin Cookie Jar To Your Kitchen
Amazon has several pumpkin cookie jars available. It doesn’t get much cuter than this! We don’t use ours for cookies, but I love having one. Click here to check out the one pictured above.
9. Hang An Autumn Dishtowel On Your Oven Or Dishwasher
Dishtowels are cheap and festive! I love the ones shown above, but Amazon has plenty of options.
Okay, these next two aren’t really home decor items, but you have to buy a new mug and a pair of socks for each holiday! Or is that just me?
10. Buy A New Coffee Mug

11. Buy Some Festive Socks
How funky and fun! Click here to check these out.
There are so many ways to decorate for Autumn, but these are my favorite budget-friendly ways to add a Fall touch to your home.
Let me know in the comments below, how do you decorate for Fall on a budget?

All of these are super cute and super affordable! I absolutely love that mug and the pumpkin cookie jar!
Thank you! 😍 I do too!
